Process Analysis

How to Change a Diaper

When you are changing a boy’s diaper that likes to pee in the process, you need to be creative as to how to block the stream. Here is the best way I found to do it.

Start by pulling the new diaper out of the package, and unfolding it, getting it as close as possible to be put on the child. Next, get the child prepared. Lay him down, and unstrap the old diaper, but do not pull it away yet, keeping his privates covered. At this time you want to be ready with the new diaper to quickly place over the privates while you are pulling the old diaper back. The quicker you can do this the less chance you have for a bath of pee. Now, you can simply tuck the new diaper under the butt and you have blocked any chance of a leak. Now the last step to changing a diaper is to get rid of the old one. The easiest way I found was to start rolling it from the front to the back and use the straps to seal it close and throw it away.
